Poems
Dec 2012
Following her
Following Her
I’ve lost my way
Taken the wrong path
Following my mothers footsteps
Not willing to look back
Faith was left behind
A long time ago
Nothing the bible says
Can ever help me through
People I love slowly go away
Like puddles left over from a rainy day
Words fall flat against my ears
My own heart twisted with fear
