Early
morning
finds us
awake,

stirring like
pirate children
crawling up
and under
the sheets
of our bed.

I bow to
the weather
in your eyes,

I submit to
your hurricane
smile

and fall
softly back
to bed to
your
gentle seaside
breeze down
the back of
my neck.

we celebrate
the hunger
of our
bodies as
we roll and
tumble in
love across
the morning
sky,

only stopping
to catch
our breath
with deep
kisses shared
openly with
one another.

quarter to
eight and
I stumble
out of
bed,

wondering how
could I
ever leave
this paradise
behind.

and then
I raise your
*** to
me,

and work
will have
to wait
for another
life time

not mine.
