Cabin in the wild wood

Along mossy unpaved paths of pine

Birds call from the canopies

Over the cobblestone fireplace

Stag head and moon faced clock

Harken toward the dawn’s heraldry.

Eventual hours chime for the lime light.

Dog waits by the door for the next hunt.
