This is a poem that I have had for as long
as I can remember given to myself from my
very own grandmother as a cut out from a
newspaper when I was a child .
It is Author Unknown ..
Not one I wrote myself .
I would love to know who had
indeed written it .
But it was dated 1912 and I
thought of the Titanic ..

TO BEGIN AGAIN

It takes a lot of courage
It calls for strngth to mind~
To make a new beginning
And leave the past behind~
To build upon the ruins
And dream another dream~
To set forth in the dakness
Towards a distant gleam~
To suffer many losses
Yet faithful to remain~
To rise above disaster
And then begin again~
Life's ending today but there
can be a new tomorrow with
faith and trust in your heart .
