Time Passes By
Faster time flies, faster
you want it too, adventure carry
you across time and space
thrills of time speeding by.
Rushing, quivering with
excitement, time shivers
on with anticipation, speeding
across histories path
Now infinity, time is no more
nothing, no such thing as time
just darkness surrounding each
move, that seemed to have
stopped without notice.
Hard to believe beauty enchanted
life once, now darkness, no time
nothing, not even memories left.
Faster, yes faster, now flying
higher and higher, reaching for
dreams, broken promises, that
were alive at one time, making
little difference now.
