A silent rhythm
Beckoning beats lingering one to the next
Its warmth a soothing touch
Like whispered promises between fingertips
Oblivious to the world outside their union
Compelled by this subtle song
Submitting to its seductive call
Reaching blindly out
A willing prisoner to a softly beating heart
