Winter dawns the day
Renewing the great and small
A bird sings of love
The bear sleeps the season away
As a mother keeps her children warm
Time moves on
Today we are here
Tomorrow we are gone
In the mist of darkness
A light begins
Growing with each passing day
Given to the pain
Ones forced to labor
As the winds chill the moonlit night
All is well
In the end
When the sands of time pour out
A faint cry stirs the soul
Life begins to slip away
The old will die
As a newborn cries
Completing the circle of life
