Falling gently, one by one,
The cherry blossoms fall
The night sky, chilled by frigid drifting snow,
Grows darker by the hour as the snow starts to glow
One petal here, some scatter there,
There's soft pink petals swirling everywhere.
If only those petals would last forever
It'd be a memory I couldn't sever
Thousands of cherry blossoms drifting away
Bringing light to those who wish to see another day
