I am always sleeping under earth
vines entwined with my limbs
a leaf over each eye
My heart is the slowness of flower
bashful in my blooming
tilting towards the brightest sun
ever still a restless dreamer
tripping over roots in my haste
to get to the wellspring of myself
everything is humming in symphony
my blood is singing back
bedded against the soil
i am a cacophony of life
