When I was a wee lad I listened
to my grandfather, (an Irish freedom
fighter, buried with full military honours)
condemn the Germans for what they
did to the Jews, yet he had no gripe
with ****** as Ireland was neutral .

In the same century I listened to my father
condemn the Israeli's for what they were
doing to the Palestinians, he is dead now.
But I can assure you, if they were both
alive today and witnessing this horror,
they could but agree on one thing.

It is our duty as Irishmen and women in
the name of god and of the dead generation,
to express our support in every way possible.
