I pray for peace
Please allow your love
To rain down on this earth
We live in a time
When people are becoming
More separated
Where people are hurting each other
While people are hurting this planet
People are lost and disjointed
Without any type of connection
To what reality truly means
Living in an illusion
Not understanding
Their real worth
And the ultimate reality
We are all connected
I pray that people
Will begin to see
And stop the wars
And the judgment
And the crimes
And the pain
And start understanding
No life is ever forfeit
For greed or gain
And no life
Is any less sacred
Or has any less purpose
Than any other life
We must come to accept this
Please I am asking you
Wake up
Whoever is out there
Its not too late
Even as crazy
As the world is
Its never too late to wake up
Waking up to yourself
Waking up and sensing
The spirit that is inside
But more importantly
Being able to feel and to see
The spirit inside of everything else
Responding out of love and kindness
Instead of hate and anger
Learning to love in whole
And complete ways
And learning to show mercy
And kindness to the people
That need it the most
I pray and plead
Please wake up
Its not too late
We can still turn
Things around
There is still hope
The choice
Is with all of us
