It was our Eiffel back then.

Towering over us with its
cloud catching antenna.

It pierced the permanent
cumulus congestus which
drapes the nation-

denying us a mere glimpse
at the crescent moon.

Nothing ever changes up
there he heard them say.

As for the silver lining!

Well, they could only ever
take my word for that-

because I was the only
vertical thinker with 20/20
vision in Mallow.
