I Put A Bike On It.
E.S.B. Pylon.
(1972)
It was our Eiffel back then.
Towering over us with its
cloud catching antenna.
It pierced the permanent
cumulus congestus which
drapes the nation-
denying us a mere glimpse
at the crescent moon.
Nothing ever changes up
there he heard them say.
As for the silver lining!
Well, they could only ever
take my word for that-
because I was the only
vertical thinker with 20/20
vision in Mallow.
