Getting Saggier
When you get old
You do old people things
Sit around the Bible and make shadow puppets
Time
Flies faster than we can remember
We get high
And forget the rest of
Life that we’ve lived
For the worse or the better
But at least we feel good
Candy in the jar
Cigarette staining the wall paper
Vicodin on tap
And a smile knowing death is coming soon
