"Don't do it!"
I scream,
As tears fall from my face,
I know I should run,
But my feet stay in place.

In that pale moonlight,
She stands on the edge,
Hurtful words fill her head,
From he so called "friends".

I just can't let her do this,
I can't let her fall,
She said it's the only way,
To escape from it all.

From the pointing and laughing,
The secrets and lies;
That's the reason she's here,
The reason she cries.

She needed a friend,
That's why I'm here,
As she whispers goodbyes,
I slowly draw near.

I grab her arm,
I pull her away,
Away from the edge,
I need her to stay.
