I have a Love in Heaven hatched,
The fire there, the flame stoked, and watched.

I nursed the light with sweat and blood,
Till to ends of Earth it flood,
And takes the babes up on God's wing,
As they whistle, as they sing,
On golden zephyr aspiring,
Grafting, never tiring,
For Love! It not a fickle thing,
Committed to its sacred ring,
For Love is life and life devotion,
Pure, and deep, and rare. As ocean.
Churning in incessant motion,
O Love! Hearts' glorious commotion!
