Picturesque starlit skylight
By day I dream, by night I write
And long to take the raven’s flight
Bespectacled in lights so bright

Where I surmise she may devise
Some semblance of the dawning’s rise
With me in mind, as I abide
By time’s fair-weather friendly guise

Alluring in enduring youth
Rebel like hell, but fear no truth
Resist temptations to reboot
The formal matrix agent suit

Out here among the simple folk
The cattle driven burden’s yoke
As I the boy who pride bespoke
Still rolls his mortal boulder joke

Awoken once again to end
The sullen reveries I’ve penned
Behind these compound walls defend
The powerless to my will bends
