Jul 2018
I arose in the dark,
Deep sigh,
Stumbling step.
Mind unclear yet,
Heavy heart,
Woe beset.

Coffee so warm,
Almost hot,
Trembling hands.
Frail aging body
Finding strength
Again to stand.

There was your face,
Sweet smile,
Gentle sigh.
Your aura embraced,
Power rush,
Drawn up high.

Then came your hand,
Outstretched,
Holding mine.
And the sun came up,
Worries gone,
All is fine.
