As I sit here and wipe the tears from my eyes
We have decided to break all ties
The woman I loved with all my heart and soul
Has said bad things about me and it took its toll
I know I don't even have a clue
But I know some of the things she said were not true
I know she don't mean the bad things she said about me
But open my eyes it did now I can finally see
My heart and the way I love will never be the same
And to be the perfect man I shall never claim
We all have certain things that's what makes us unique
Look over the land and you may find what you seek
I will miss this love of mine
And I surely hope that she will be just fine
The memories I will always have she can not take them from me
I am not one to give up this fight
But the words that she said were just not right
I will say goodbye to my sweet love
And I will pray to the lord above
That she finds the happiness that she does deserve
And to me also ...and all our memories I will preserve
I will always love her till the end of time
I will continue with my poetry maybe if I can still rhyme
If ever you do find that you realize
That my love is real and the love is true
I will always be here or there just for you
