Remind me of the vows
oh yes
and you'll say,
'how's it going?'

honour and obey
old hat maybe
but that's okay

love and cherish
at least until
I perish
and then some
more please.

in sickness and in
health with the richness
of herΒ wealth of wisdom
going on
and
don't forget the rocking chairs
the Stannah for the stairs
and the love and care she lavishes
on me

of course I do my bit
potter round
and sit about
and generally make a nuisance
of myself
which doesn't rhyme.
