I see this day to look upon
The ones once here, and now has gone
These words I write shall come from me
The hearts of others I cannot see
For men and women who fights a war
Your honorable spirit shall now be lore
I know I cannot ever grasp
The moment of that breath at last
My tears for you, always so real
Honor your service, with sincere zeal
I hope one day, that all war ends
And all your efforts shall make amends
Till then, dear soldier, I wish to thank
What you have done, shall I be frank?
I am but no one, just one who cares
Appreciate what you have shared
And lost your life to give to me
So that I live, and may be free

With all my heart, I thank you.
No words can express enough
Rest in peace
With love, respect, I honor you
