Sounds Gregorian
or some monastic
organization famed
for its stature.

But not at all. While
I was  standing at a
Zebra crossing by
The Pont Julian

Would you believe it, a
Giraffe asked me if there
was any place in town
where he could sleep!

Got me thinking indeed,
not an easy task now,
especially that I am
un Γ©tranger

Hmmm, I thought, as I
scratched my head
through the beret I wear
to hide the bald patch.

He was visually tired and
needed to get his head
down for the night, besides,
the light was fading.

It dawned on me, there's
only one place suitable
for a Giraffe in Lacoste,
a Chambre de Haute !
