I felt so lonely most of the time
Doing things everybody else's way-
Still not finding what I'd dreamed of
That true love for which my heart did pray-

Then one day I just got tired of searching
And I asked him would he simply show to me-
The one thing I had always searched for
And to my surprise it seems he did agree-

I said to him you once told me long ago
My heart would one day find it's very home-
And that if I had faith in his word
I would never ever walk alone-

Before I knew it and soon after that I found her
No more in life the rolling stone-
For that's when he proved his word to me
