Boy sits on a ***** lone beach hill of lawny grass
With a very attractive girl he not long had met
And they looked at each other and then smiled
She thinks I bet ,, he wants to make love to me
He thinks, OH I'd love to make love to her
He thinks but I would never tell her that though
And she thinks If he asked me I just might but
I would not tell him that as he'd think I'm easy
Then he says I bet you think I want to make love to you
But if I did I'd not say so as you'd think me awful
And she says no I wouldn’t but I'd not tell you
If I wanted you to, anyway but I bet you do
Me ? What gives you the idea I want to do that
Nothing she says I'm just thinking if you did , that’s all
Well if I did want to I'd be worried that you'd leave
She says am I going anywhere , am I moving at all
He says well I'm not leaving , do I look like I want to go
Then she says if you did want to , would you tell me so
And he says yes I would tell you if I thought that you might
Well she says if you ask me I might tell you if I do want to
And he says if I did ask you that , would you mind at all
And she says If I asked you , what would you say to me
He says Oh I don't know ask me then and then you’ll know
And she says I'd ask you if I thought you wouldn’t mind
And he says I wouldn’t mind if you asked me at all ok
And she says ok I'm asking you then , so what about that
And he says what are you asking me then may I ask
And she says I'm asking you to ask me to ask you if I want to
Would you ask me she says to ask you so I’ll maybe tell you
Tell me what he says will you just let me know what you want to know
What your thinking right now he said so I'll know what to think
And she says well ,,,, I’ll tell you what right now honestly .. ok
And he says , YES YES tell me ..
And she says ..
I'd really LOVE a ****** ice cream ..
