Those Australian Snowy Mountain eagles
How very graceful do they fly~
Gliding ever smoothly far above
The ground against the mountain sky~
With eyesight ever accurate
They go slowly about their day~
Away up in the snowy mountains
Those beautiful eagles birds of prey~
Called the wedged tailed Australian eagle
They've always been among the alps so high~
Ever admired for their grace
High within the mountain sky~
Loved by so many , unloved by few
This bird of prey with all it's grace~
Ever proudly it does it's thing
So far within the high snowy mountain space~
I've sat and watched them for hours
This magnificent bird within it's flight~
Almost related to the mountains breezes
They both work together ever so right~
Large within it's being so
As beautiful as can be~
This snowy mountain high bird of prey
So sublime and majestic it is to me~
