Jun 2018
today they stuck a fork in
my tender rose
to bruise the soul
equate logic for fear
I shed a tear to numb its pain
shaped back a dream to its ******
it came out negative,

brandished as a rose left comforted on the floor
to try to even the score
the duration of the surgery was painless
