You Told Me A Lie
You were such a sweet guy to me
Such a sweet guy
You told me no lie, you see
You told me no lie
Right there when I needed you, you were
Right there when I needed you
You were someone I could run to, for sure
Someone I could run to
You started treating me like ****, you did
Started treating me like ****
I don’t believe I rightfully deserved this,
Didn’t deserve it a bit
I see you now and then, yeah
I see you now and then
“Let’s be friends”, you told me that
You told me, let’s be friends
But now you’re with someone else, you are
Now you’re with someone else
So from me, you stay far,
You stay far, to save yourself
You’re still a sweet guy, you see
Still a sweet guy
Just not to me,
No… not to me
You told me a lie.
