Who knew
That liquid courage
Can fill even the most secluded
With involuntary truths
Not remembered for days after
When the world blurs
And the rooms were spinning
When you and I were cruising
To mixed drinks and laughs
Too bad today we’ll pay
For the good times
Grinning through headaches
Knowing next weekend isn’t far away
