Each Sunday, he faithfully stood at the door of his church.
Shook hands of anyone entering his church with a greeting and a smile.

Very well loved.
Very well respected.

He preached this sermon on forgiveness.
Drove the message home.
Who am I to judge?
Ws the name on the pamphlet.

He preached no one is above temptation.
But we all have the heart to forgive.
Is it just a matter of could you?

He turns to the first lady of his church and looked at her.
And said "forgive me" for I have sinned.

Members, only wondered with who?
Others wondered if it was true.

He stated names don't need to be known.
Just forgive me.
After all, in my case, I was weak in nature.

Some got up to walk out the door.
Angry, upset and enraged.

He requested the ushers to stop them.
And then gave them the truth of his sermon.

To those that rose to leave, you don't comprehend what forgiveness is?
But more in tune to what judgment is?

"Not once have I cheated on my spouse in any way".

"I just wanted to see my judge and jury.
And they stand at the door".
