Jun 2018
Contained in a metal cylindrical bird
As I struggle to think of the word
I would use
To produce peace of mind
Should I plummet into
A first day of adventure
Still rife with abstention
From delving too deep
In the translate dimension
Again I’m expected
To make friends with strangers
Instead of exploring
This new city’s dangers
And drifting in half-conscious
Slumbersome speech
Here to teach them my lifestyle
Still out of reach
