day was dying to raise Another....
but sleep yet haven't Won....
"Please, tell me a story my big brother!"
and so with smile - he Begun....

"once upon a Time....
in the world that Rhyme....
its city full of Grey....
guarding nights of Day....
slept green Seas....
alley of white Trees....
where children of the sun came at night to Die....
where they said their last Goodbye....
to white trees with sturdy Rope....
they were coming to confess despairfull Hope....

there then once crimson lady Came...
claret lines all from the Same....
mother who lost her Child....
broken, while her demons went Wild....
still crying her tears of red Sadness....
lost in painful Madness....
when she tied her Knot....
on the sturdy rope she Brought....
god danced in the Rain....
But the tree couldn't bear the Pain....
branch made roaring Sound....
lady fell back onto the Ground....
tree broke it's own Arm....
to keep her safe from Harm....
making sure she won't try Again....
or draw another claret Line....
he asked wailing wind to Wind....
with all strength the wind could Find....
to run through its Leaves....
to say what the white tree Sees....

"do not cry you  who  lost  your  Stars...
white tree can see  your  Scars....
no  need  to know the Names....
of the pictures drowned in Frames...."

and ever since, she every Day...
in the city made from shades of Grey....
lady and her ancient Friend....
all the time they Spend....
all the secrets they Share....
and each time she herself from darkness Spare....
everyday missing her Misery....
is the White Trees
Victory...."

so now go to Sleep...
one day you'll grow Old...
and should future make you Weep...
should the world turn gray and Cold....
find your White Tree Alley....
inside that shadow Valley....
Every  Despair  Holds....
write it before "shades of gray" was a thing (well, before i knew about it anyway) while revising it before putting it here, i failed to change the line without either destroying the imagery or rewriting the whole work, If you have an adie how to change it, i'll be very happy, if not i'll wait for the "shades of gray" thing to die out (untill either of the mentioned options - have a cringy line.)
