For those who fought
Without fear
Without knowing if
They will make it out alive
Those with solemnity rose
Above the rest
As life grew into death
And as death grew into life
There sacrifice will not be forgotten

An empty river holds only
The past
With each day the present fills it
Yet we can still see what was once
Laying in ruin
Right in front of us

And as the sun caresses the earth
It's light shines upon vanishing grace
