Jun 2018
Off in the distance there is a faint howl in the wind.
The smell of the new dawn and lilac is fresh in the air.
Dew resting on the lips of the grass blades and cardinal song is beginning.
Yet,
I weep.
I sit in silence
I pleed for hope
Beg for a new beginning
But it's already here
And I feel nothing
Just pain
Loneliness
While the world still turns
My world crumbles around me.
