the birth is convincing
in its colors and boundaries
appearing as both
savory and unsavory..
along with the birth
comes ego's desire for
the happiness
which once it knew..
questions are a threat
and its defenses
most militant..
fears and desires
conceal real happiness
retaining that coin
of unhappiness...
