Wichita
It is painful in the outback-
those wheat necks
overreaching, wait
a sharp scythe and
an ironic row.
Robin sky summarizes the
warped encapsulation
of cow guts cooling down
in a ridiculous heat.
The butterfly flowers genuflect
toward winds freight
in even temperament.
It's another country day
fostering deference to
whatever comes that may.
