I reached for you like the
branch of a tree reaching
for the sun and like the
sun you surrounded me
with warmth and love.

And like the sun your
shine so bright and like
the tree I grew in your
direction able to feel
the love that you were
sending.

In that growth I was able
to feel the changes that
were taking place in my
life and being, from the
love that I was receiving.

You filled my life with
love and showed me how
to give love as well as
how to receive love and
grow.

Now we grow together
as one knowing that we
cannot and will not ever
be undone knowing that
we are changed forever
and we never have to
look back at what we
left behind ever.
