"Pitter-patter the rain came down,
Falling over the landscape with hardly a sound,
the waterfowl came out to play,
to them, it was their hay day,
Among the wildlife here,
Strange of all was the young man sitting near,
staring out the window looking for relief,
He was comforted by the wind and the leaf,
Blowing around in an endless maze,
He thought that life was just a game,
Until the unthinkable happened,
And he saw his soul escape,
It fluttered into the wind and the rain,
Not even his hopes and dreams remained,
He was an empty shell, a hollow log,
Of a man that knew no smog,
He was trapped in the dark cave of his mind,
He saw no stars, for he was blind.."
