Message turned around in a huff, and when she looked at the Assembly her huff had turned into a snarl. She gripped the Kingfather Scepter, but thought better. Two of the Assembly brethren who were talking and laughing stopped, and just looked at her bored. She stomped out, still angry. Drent ran after her saying, It’s no big deal, we can get another vote.” Message turned around and jabbed her finger into his head saying, I don’t need another vote, I know what to do.” Drent stepped back shocked. “ This was not the way it was done in Dahomeyia”, he said to her. And then he said to himself,” But this is a new Dahomeyia.” Message threw up her and walked out, without dismissing the Assembly.
A Paroah Chariot was waiting for her, to transport her back to the palace. Message sat down, fuming, muttering over and over, “The Assembly says I should not attack. Well, ***** them. There are other options.” She wondered to herself, “What are those other options?” The screen pulled up the smiling face of the Peacemonger of Strengthened Weapons. He said with a grin, “ You see, your Rulership, I was right. The best course is patience and to understand the situation.” Message clicked off the screen with a fury and pouted with her arms crossed.
The Alliance Project called her saying, “ Make sure you play nice with the Peacemonger. He can be annoying but his heart is in the right place. He knows the pain that war can bring.” Message then said, almost shouting, “And I know what can destroy a planet and the people in it.” The Alliance Project was silent.
Suddenly another person popped up on the screen. Message turned around thinking,” It can’t be the Peacemonger of Strengthened Weapons I blocked him.” It was Arthur. He said, “Greetings I am on your home planet can you send your finest horsemen to bring me?” Message jumped and down giggling and said “Sure I have the perfect mission for you when we meet!”
Arthur came to the palace and Message greeted him at the door. She asked him, “Tell me, what do you know about this being called Mythology?” Arthur pondered for a bit and said, “My mother used to tell me of my ancestors, and how they fought to save their Trojan Homeland. The gods were against them, because they said that mankind was in rebellion and must be punished. The Greek army was the human portion of the forces they sent against us. Eventually my homeland fell, and neither god nor Greek had mercy. They slaughtered who they could not take and burned what they could not steal. So the survivors went across the Earth realm, vowing that what had happened to them would never happen to anyone else. I knew then I was born for a time, but the time I did not know until now.” Message raised an eyebrow and pressed further, “ Which god was Mythology?”
“All of them.”
