May 2018
Beat up sneaks,
ripped jeans.
Short shirts,
and bein mean.
Smoking hand-rolled cigarettes,
driving down the countryside.
Hand out the window,
wind in our hair.

Sitting on the hood,
gazing at the stars.
All around the bon fire,
roasting the marshmallows to goo.
Riding on his shoulders,
eating cotton candy.
Going on all the fair rides,
we'll be young forever.
Who has ever wanted this? Who has ever had this?
