“Shame shame shame
Oh shame on you”

I plead a thousand times
There’s nothing I could do

I told him
I’d rather by dead
I really told him
That’s what I said

If I’d worn my dress longer
Or fought a little stronger
It was really my fault
It could’ve been stopped

Shame on me, I couldn’t see
One bottle less
Anything but that dress

(Oh God
Where were you
When dirt touched my skin
When he let himself in?)

One bottle less
A longer dress...

I’m very sorry
To bother you, at all
But this is really
Actually my fault
