FROM THE DAY WE'ER BORN

The first thing we here is .. that bad
Hell I just got here give me a break
Just make me a bottle no teeth for steak

Then you get older some theres older still
Thinking they'er Gods gift to wisdom in life
But now your here they might get less some
And that alone causes for you yet more strife

Not that you expected encouragement for being
For belonging to both parents unlike them
But you never knew that you loved them anyway
Might have been accidentle you'd do it ag'en

My God a boy you heard you looked down to see
He's lovely a nurse said they didn't agree
Than you change his nappies they then cried
The pre spoiled others not full of glee

Then at school told your not as good as they
So you told all to go see a taxaderist true
Unlike the others got a real job with pay
A lad working with men doing as they do

Them fathered by God knows with ego's to boot
Mum like the socil life a few drinks who cares
After the last dance off to a party dad home
His life working hard mum out there with bears

Not long to find your different than they
Them out to prove better then most in town
All pretenders at best not fooling a soul
You sun tanned by working them whitest around

You grew with muscles and finess healthy too
Never afraid of hard work like them ever true
Fine suits and high heels you boots just jeans
You from 16 poetry songs good voice right through

Riding the wind horses and hands that said work
Crow bars and ax'es take on all come what may
Bosses knew you could hack it at any time
Never out of work made good money each day

They hated my honesty when I had something to say
Never cared who they were they got it anyway
Never tried being as good as others always just me
All through life be itnight or be it day

I grew without family no regrets friends better
Them I treated mostly like bush flies
Better off being yourself take it or leave it
After all said and done everyone eventually dies

So many with depression these days just be happy
It stirs them up the wall of life its true
Just say to yourself tomorrow first day of my life
Look out world here I come I'm better than you
