You said you would protect me,
Yet you don't know what I am fighting.

I'm fighting someone smarter than me,
Someone who knows my every move.

I'm fighting someone who has known me longer than I have,
Someone who knows everything that is haunting me.

This "someone" I'm fighting is not someone you can protect me from,
Because how can you protect someone,
When the person they are fighting are themselves?
