For those eyes and the eyes of the children of the south
For that smille that expresses the frank day
I ask for hope joy and wine
To celebrate the grace of your reign

For those eyes and the eyes of the children of the south
For that mood that caresses the spring morning
I will invent a fairy tale
Set with bright amber sights

For those eyes and the eyes of the children of the south
For this prodigious stature who enchants life
I will dance all my summer drunkenness

But never forget beautiful idole
That for those eyes and the eyes of the children of the south
Men die every day to fight The thieves of dreams
