I believe that everything we do affects the fate of the people around us and although it’s a daunting thought, it can be comforting at the same time: we have to take care of each other because our actions have consequences. When I’m in school, I think about a scene from the movie Amélie, where Amélie is watching television but she’s imagining that she’s a part of the television show. The man on tv says, “If Amélie chooses to live in a dream-world and remain an introverted young woman, she has every right to mess up her life.” That part gets to me, because I know it’s true.

I’ve been crying a lot and I’ve been feeling weird. I don’t understand why and I don’t know how to feel better. I’m just holding on. ♦
