It is fitting, they said, and right
that clothed deep within the night
we walk towards the coming day

no time to play
no cat and mouse
this house has too many mansions
(I cannot mention who said that)
Kings in the book of Jehoshaphat
( where did that come from? )

we do not dilly, dally,
neither shall we dwell
or tarry
inside the secrets
that dawn brings.
