In my dreams of once ago

A lifeless loomed

This day of emptiness
A vision gone away

This day a realise
My dreams all faded grey

A call so early was the night
A sleep once had
Did send me over
Was this the way to be I'm told

This day of blindness
Chained to the road

This day in time held past
Picture's painted heaped to last

In sightless sky as my blindfold held
The heat demanded
Its nearly over
This faded grey
Lost forever
