The old nostalgic songs have all lost their charm
And looking for you has become a form of self inflicted harm
I gave it all to build something that was never meant to withstand the toll of time
In the end you to took what was yours and you took what was mine
You were always so perfectly composed of all the things I'll never be
And I was nothing more than a scattered mess of useless things you'll never see
Now the days are getting colder and the night is creeping faster
And Ill think back to how you left me like a dog without a master
Well Ive been getting up slowly
And moving on steady
With one thought in my head
Just let summer ******* die already
