One Way Ticket

To come back abroad
abroad from you
and all you made me think I'd do.
From all the love you couldn't feel
and all the tears you made me squeal.

I hate the airport thought of you
and the love I thought was flying too.
Remembering how you used to wait
with that smirk upon your face.
But now you drop me quick and cold.
I wish you well as you grow old.

Now I don't want to watch you age
And hear you talk about your pain.
For all you ever do is yell
and pick the scab that's healing well.

We won't be friends
since you're not kind.
So I won't sacrifice my mind
or what I feel and know inside.

You've taken all you can from me.
Now leave me be
across the sea.
