The darkness enveloped
me, suffocated me,
connected me
The light died
and I was
trapped
in between
reality and fiction,
life and death

It was beautiful,
terrifyingly beautiful as it
spun out dreams that
fluttered like cobwebs
in the crushing darkness,
intertwining me
with the shadows

I screamed but no one heard me
