Every time you got cold
I held your hand from the start
But little did I know the ice
Resided in your heart
Can you come clean
Can you come clean
Insert your memories in me
Is it that hard to believe
In a somewhat crooked destiny
Your patience  is waning on me
As you wield your sword of words
I’m not asking for your sympathy
But you’re the one that asked to comfort me
So why bother being nice
Why bother being good
But all the same, the ***** is a role
We’re in the same game, except mine takes a toll
So don’t come around if you want me to be polite
Don’t you come around if you want me to lie
And say that everything is alright
Cause nothing is alright
And every time you got cold
I held your hand from the start
But little did I know
The ice resided in your heart
