For awhile I was lost in my head
All I could think about is I wish I were dead
I was really messed up doing bad things
And taking a lot of bad things
But then in my life took a turn for the better
Along came a girl and blew me away
She just stared in my eyes and I knew everything was going to be ok
Although I almost threw it away because of stupity
It was a little bit like serendipity
I hope that she knows what her love does to me
Because for the first time in years I actually opened my eyes and I could truly see

So right now in my life I do know exactly what I must do
So all of my dreams don't stop coming true
This girl that came out of my dreams and into my life
She got rid of all of my strife
So with these last words that I will write
I will say that when I look in her eyes the sparkle so bright
It puts me in a trance that turned into love
So I thank the stars and the lord above
She is my sunshine when it's dark outside
I will hold on and so should she cause together forever will be such a glorious ride.
